What If Can't Find the One I Want?

If there's a particular name that you have your heart set on but that someone else has already registered, there are a few sly ways to sidestep the conflict.

For example, If you are dead set on a certain name but it's already taken, you can always tack on "-inc" or "-co" or "-ventures" or whatever before the ".com" part. The annoying part of that, of course, is having to tell someone your domain name and having them struggle to understand how to write it, spell it, or even repeat it.

Example: I picked a domain name called www.ez2do.com Now you would have thought that it would be a cinch to repeat and remember but I had more people get confused and misspell it because they thought it was easytodo or eztodo, or easy2do.... the options are endless. So here's a good suggestion you could try.

Test the Name You Pick

Choose a name you would like , make sure it's available, then right it down and ask a several people to read it, say it, listen to you say it, and then try to right it down while you repeat it to them. See how it flows to them.

Other options try creatively misspelling your company's name, adding hyphens between words, and related weasel-tricks.
